tickled to meet you tuesdays

in a vain attempt to try and get more comments hear from my readers, i thought i'd try something new. those of you who have been around a while may remember my fleeting affair with 'would you rather thursdays.' we had a lot of fun, didn't we? tackling some of life's biggest questions... i felt like i really got to know and love you guys...

since i'm fresh out of would you rather juice, i'm gonna take another route in order to whore myself out for validation get to know you guys again. enter, tickled to meet you tuesdays.

for christmas i received a lovely gift from one of the most special people in the world to me... it was this *clever little box* with lots of questions to help make any already awkward situation even awkwarder (cuz that is a word).

sooo, i've randomly selected a question for you and would love to hear your answers. the irony is that the first question i pulled was, 'what extent have you gone to when you had a crush on a celebrity?' since most of you have painfully humiliated yourselves by commenting on my last post, i'm pretty sure no one else has anything else to say in the matter. ahem. rob. ahem. pattinson.

moving on. i present you with...

'what would be one good thing about being the opposite sex?'

oh, and please brace yourself for my husband's answer... it seriously took him all of about 3 seconds to answer.

*this is my veiled attempt to make sure everyone know's these questions are not original. but i thought if i just put asterisks and write really, really tiny you won't read this and realize that i'm really not that clever or funny and didn't come up with most, i mean all of these questions. now forget what you just read and keep thinking i'm funny. thank you.*

My first thought? I could pee standing up and not go through all the steps currently involved - who has the time? A more proper, mature response might be something like...nope, only other thing I can think of is a (most likely) faster metabolism than genetics stuck me with. I'm looking forward to seeing other responses - I'm curious how silly, vain, non-worldly (accurate?) my responses are.

Maybe not having to push a baby out? I mean to be able to stand there and say, "good job" would be cool. And then don't even get me started on the healing process. Geeeez.

Nice question..seriously for me the whole peeing standing up thing is certainly big. I get so jealous of my husband when we are road tripping and he can just whip it out and I have to hold on for dear life until something decent comes along. Oh, don't get me wrong, I have peed in places girls should not be, but oh, how convenient it would be to have a pecker! Oh, but next to that is the whole monthly cycle business and crazy hormonal roars that happen. But I am conflicted on this one, although men don't have this..(they still get nutty at times) as a women, I love having the out of saying, "dude, watch out, it is that time of month, don't mess with me." That gets the husband to pipe down. Okay, so to sum this up, being a guy would allow me to pee in more public places that are inconvenient to women and not have to have a period..I guess that is my final answer...

I would have to say metabolism!!! Now Holly you have an awesome metabolism so I know this wouldn't be the top one for you but for me- oooooooh I get so jealous!!! my husband can eat crappy food for days and stay a bean pole, I just look at a pizza and gain 5 lbs. Oh and it would be nice not to have our monthly friend the period, that would be great! I agree with Erin as well- not push a baby out. I haven't done that myself yet, but honestly that's why, I'm scared witless thinking about it!!

selective hearing. my husband can't hear when his son is screaming his lungs out.

Travis here.

I think one good thing about being a woman would be having a sensitive spirit. Women seem to be intrinsically caring and good natured. Also, childbirth is so beautiful and I would relish having that connection with my children.

Just kidding. I agree with Brandon. Multiple orgasms...definitely multiple orgasms.

I'd finally have my own boobs to stare at and nobody else would feel awkward about it.

Men make more money than women to do the same jobs, I wonder if I had a penis and no boobs, how much more I WOULD BE making!
