melikey veep palin

i couldn't resist- i've held off for awhile though. as the tear ran down my face at the democratic convention watching my homegirl rock it, it quickly dried when my second least favorite old white guy announced his new hot number. can you even believe it? i guess they signed her up to draw women voters and guess who just got sucked right in.. this is one wild election. what's not to like about this palin? she's a mom of 3? 4? no 5 kids! one of which with special needs. her eldest son enlisted in the army, her husband is part eskimo and some crazy ass snowmobiler- and she poses for vogue in north face clothes. did i mention she's a woman- and she looks like tina fey? come on! the feminist in me's gettin all fired up. my only criticsm thus far is her seemingly weak stance on the environment- but hey mccain's as green as they come right?
i'm just dying to know what's next... i guess all i know for now is that to run for office you need at leas one old white guy in the mix... how does an obama/palin ticket sound. too good to be true.
whadda yo thoughts?

a gun carrying, snowmobile riding, caribou eating, burberry scarf wearing eskimo from idaho....i think she's mccains' next-generation republican fembot prototype created by the senators' bulls-on-parade military buddies. chalk one up for the old guy.

My first thought... I was blown away & didn't see that one coming at all.

My second thought... Holly is so going to vote for her, cause she looks like Tina Fey. :)

i was so excited when mccain announced palin as his running mate. after seeing mccain's interview with rick warren, the gold old GOP blood started running through my veins again. when you look at what mccain has done for our country and what he stands for i think it is an easy decision to choose him over obama...the guy can't give a clear answer if his life depended on it. i am not ashamed to admit that i was a member of the college of republicans at cal poly and i proudly sat on the stage behind george w. bush as he campainged for president in 2000 in Fresno(did anyone notce that there were elephants on noah's bday invites? ;)! now that the grand old partie's ticket has mccain and palin on it, i think they are sure to take the white house in november. eric and i were ready to order our yard sign until we noticed our neighbors all pounding stakes into their obama signs in their yards. we just don't want our house to get vandalized. we live in liberal osos...i mean los osos. as i said, i am excited and hopeful as we draw near to a new legacy in Washington.

G2- how do you get this top secret info anyway...

linda- you know me too well girl.

mandy- glad you guys got someone representing the homeland. thanks for the tip on the greenness of palin. i really hadn't read to much about her, i just read somewhere that she was willing to drill in places mccain wouldn't even- and that scared me. but i'll look further - cause if what you say is true- she could be my next girl crush.

drea- wow, what can i say. you really are my truest, hardest core (yes its a word) GOPer (besides B's dad). you guys kill me. if you put a mccain up, i'll put a hillary one up and we'll see who gets lynched first.

Hey Hollie, this is totally off the subject of your blog but I wanted to tell you it was good to hang out with you the other night at Suz and Leah's. I hope it happens again!

so funny- we were waiting for this post from you. "Holls is going to LOVE the VP choice, she looks just like Tina Fey" was one of the first things si said to me when he heard the news. we're fans of the choice so far...and we're glad you're getting reeled in to the elephant herd.

oh, and we miss you guys. you should come visit.

You always make me smile when I read your blog.

I dare you two Osos dwellers to put up your respective signs. Go Holls! Go Soderins!

Soderins might need to hold out on the roof in sniper gear with a paint gun... Holls will only get letters of sympathy.
