y'all ready for this... i'm actually following through. hold on to your seat, cause its time for...

"would you rather thursdays!"

since we had such an amazing response last week, i'd thought i'd mix it up a little...

so...

would you rather have your jaw wired shut for 3 weeks

or

have your spouse break their left leg (with a cast ending right above the knee).

i know its a tough one. so much to consider, like i couldn't talk to my kids, but i'd probably loose some serious weight. or if b has a broken leg, he could still take the kids places, and he does work at a desk all day... and i'd still be able to eat. hmmm, sounds like i made my decision.

i know its one to mull over, so if you can't answer right away, i understand. but please when you do, i gotta know your reason.

i would much rather have my jaw wired shut than have dylan's leg broken. boys are whiney and pathetic when they're hurt and it would get old really fast. having my jaw wired shut on the other hand would probably keep me from constantly sticking my foot in my mouth, and it might evoke some sympathy from the people around here who forget what an indispensable person I am ;)

I second Mama G! Unfortunately my reason would be to finally drop some major baby weight. Seriously I think that will be the only way to keep me from eating all the kid's Easter candy. If Joey broke his leg then I would NEVER get a break from baseball duty, which I love, but baseball with a 2 year old isn't exactly something that I like doing every waking moment.

i would choose to have my jaw wired shut. mostly to lose weight and get ready for the dreaded act of putting on a swimsuit. i have no self discipline, so perhaps that would force me to get in shape. with my bell's palsy, the kids are already used to me not being able to smile, but it would be weird to not be able to talk very well.

man you guys are all so selfless... i'm still way into b having a broken leg. oh and erin, you still got a great smile- maybe i should set you up with katie, and you guys could take turns playing 2 yr old baseball- lighten the duties.

Definately broken leg for the hubby. A girls gotta eat. Even if I do need to lose a few pounds. It would be too much not to eat. I would be so grouchy. Ea

I'll take the wires too. The frustration I'd witness from a husband who couldn't do a lick of physical activity would be awful. And I wouldn't mind dropping a couple lbs.

ps. what'd you decide to do about he EV?

Sorry Wife. It's a broken leg for you. I had a friend in high school who broke his hand. He was running with the cast on his hand and accidentally hit his face and broke his jaw. It was wired shut all summer. No way would I want that. Plus, how am I going to support a family if this grill looks like a . . . grill? We'd be on the street without this gorgeous face.

Cheryl doesn't do good with injuries, so i'm gonna go with jaw wired shut.

definitly wire my jaw shut. i need to lose at least 20 lbs....if i couldn't shove food in my face that would definitly do the trick. and ben would love that i couldn't nag him all the time. he'd be in heaven!.If ben broke his leg i'd have to be his servant 24/7. he'd totally milk it!
